I live in UK near Liverpool in a rural setting with fields back and front. Pheasants and rabbits and hares, etc abound. In fact, the premier hare coursing event in UK, the Waterloo Cup, is held about 1 mile away from me. Where do I start.....well, I served in the British Army for 12 years, I was in Singapore and Malaya from 1967-70 and, yes, I did listen to Cronauer on AFVN when atmospheric conditions allowed. From the Far East I went to Germany for 9 years (the less said the better). I returned to UK, left the Forces and from 1979-82 worked behind the Iron Curtain for Nashua Corporation as their Technical Manager, East Europe. It seems as all DR's suffer from the same technical blood, most of us appear to be in computing or associated industries. During the 90's I ran my own IT training company and I now am a Consultant/IT Trainer working throughout the UK. I have 5 "children", 3 step-children (2 who live locally) and 2 sons, both who live at home at the ripe old age of 32 and 23....it was bad enough when they were children, but now....

Look forward to hearing from other members of the "brotherhood"...I'm currently investigating the family tree. I have got as far as 1852 confirmed and the 1700's unconfirmed. (Well, it keeps me busy during the cold winter nights).

With that, thanks for contacting..hope that it continues. Regards Dave Roberts (UK)
